Our director, Annelie van Zyl, was admitted as solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Africa in February 1995. From 1995 to 2003 she practised law in South Africa gaining experience in a wide range of areas including family law. In 2003 she immigrated to Australia and in April 2004 she was admitted as solicitor in New South Wales. She was admitted to practice law in Western Australia on 28 September 2007. Since 2007 Annelie has practised predominantly in all areas of family law but has also gained substantial experience in the area of Wills and Probate. Annelie is able to advise on a wide range of family law matters ranging from less complex property matters through to high net worth cases that may include complex business, company and trust structures. Similarly in children and parenting matters, whether you require either legal advice on the preparation of consent orders or a parenting plan or you require representation in complex high conflict defended court proceedings, Annelie has the experience to assist you. Annelie is an accredited mediator with AIFLAM (Australian Institute for Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators) and a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of WA. Annelie speaks Afrikaans fluently.
